Day 01: Arrival in Paro
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After completing the necessary arrival formalities, take a relaxing stroll through Paro’s charming market and town.

Day 02: Explore Paro
Drive to the historic Drugyel Dzong, once a stronghold against Tibetan invasions, offering magnificent views of Mount Jomolhari. Continue to a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse for a cultural experience and visit the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries in Bhutan. In the afternoon, explore the Ta Dzong, Bhutan’s National Museum, and conclude your day with a visit to Rinpung Dzong, a magnificent fortress housing the district administration and the local monk body.

Day 03: Paro to Thimphu (55 km, 2 hours)
After breakfast, journey through the picturesque Paro valley to Thimphu, the vibrant capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan. In Thimphu, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a monument to world peace, and Tashichhodzong, an impressive building housing His Majesty’s secretariat and the central monk body. Enjoy an evening stroll through the lively market in Thimphu.

Day 04: Thimphu Sightseeing
In the morning, visit the Institute for Zorig Chusum to witness Bhutan’s traditional arts and crafts. Explore the National Library, home to centuries-old Buddhist texts, and the Folk Heritage and National Textile Museums for insights into Bhutanese culture. After lunch, visit the Handicrafts Emporium, known for its exquisite handmade textiles and crafts. Enjoy a panoramic view of Thimphu valley from a prayer-flag festooned lookout.

Day 05: Thimphu to Geynekha (14 km, 4 hours)
After a 45-minute drive, embark on your trek from Geynekha. The walk, following a mule path, meanders through terraced fields and coniferous forests before reaching Geynekha, located at an altitude of 2,800m. Overnight camping alongside a serene stream.
Day 06: Geynekha to Gur (15 km, 4 hours)
Today’s trek immerses you in Bhutan’s alpine beauty as you pass through lush meadows teeming with flora and fauna. After a gradual uphill walk, enjoy a breathtaking view from a rock platform. Continue trekking to Gur, where vibrant wildflowers create a beautiful landscape. Overnight camping in Gur.
Day 07: Gur to Labatamba (12 km, 5 hours)
Trek across scenic ridges and meadows, where wild asparagus grows in abundance. Enjoy panoramic views of the rugged Dagala range and yak herder camps. After lunch at a yak herder’s camp, continue to Yutsho Lake, famous for its golden trout. Overnight camping near the lake.
Day 08: Labatamba Halt
Enjoy a day of exploration around three stunning lakes—Relitsho, Hentsho, and Jamatsho. Your guide will share fascinating myths and legends associated with these lakes. This is also an ideal spot for trout fishing. Overnight camping.
Day 09: Labatamba Halt
Venture on an extension to Setsho and nearby lakes, or embark on a hike to the 5,050m peak of Jomo for unparalleled views of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy a packed lunch at the summit, surrounded by stunning vistas. Return to camp by dusk. Overnight camping.
Day 10: Labatamba to Panka (8 km, 4 hours)
Descend from Labatamba, with magnificent views of the Himalayan peaks, including Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Chomolhari. Keep an eye out for Himalayan monal pheasants as you trek through this picturesque landscape. Camp overnight in Panka, a grassy meadow.
Day 11: Panka to Talekha (8 km, 4 hours)
Cross several impressive mountain passes, with opportunities to see blue poppies and diverse birdlife along the way. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely walk to the top of the last ridge for spectacular views of Thimphu valley. Continue to the final camp near Talekha Monastery. Overnight camping.
Day 12: Talekha to Thimphu to Paro (6 km, 2 hours)
Descend through alpine vegetation and apple orchards, passing by Talekha Monastery. Once on the main road, take a short drive to Thimphu for lunch, and then continue back to Paro for an overnight stay.
Day 13: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, drive to Paro airport for your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s captivating landscapes and rich culture.
